Borgo dolciano: A symbolic place
As a place of synergy between territory, patrimony and population Borgo Dolciano is embodying in his bosom the calling of Citema.
The agricultural estate with its principal XVI century buildings, belonging to the bologna family since the end of the XIX century, has recently been the object of various programs of restoration with respect of traditions and history.
The different activities de Citema dedicated to the promotion of artcrafts are reusing, in an original way, this historical monument belonging to the Tuscan patrimony for the last 3 years. This cultural vision, created by the Citema association, will permit enrich the touristic activity already developed at the site resulting in a cultural centre.
The global superficies of Citema are 825 square meters. This space includes four apartments as accommodation for residents and welcoming offices for the administration, workshops, a meeting room, an exposition hall and a reception room.
